Mobile Legends developer releases statement over accusations of copyright infringements

Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) continuous to be a phenomenal hit amongst mobile gamers. The game developer is turning heads, filling their pockets and certainly making enemies while doing so.

Shanghai Moonton Technology Co, Ltd, developer of MLBB, is being sued by Riot Games over the hit mobile game’s eerily similarities with the latter’s League of Legends (LOL) game. A lawsuit was filed last week in a court in California. Aside from that, Riot Games tried to stop further downloads of the mobile game by reaching out to both Google and Apple to remove Mobile Legends and another app by Shangai Moonton, Magic Rush, in their respective app download platforms.

To combat the accusations, Shanghai Moonton chose to release their official statement on the Facebook page of Mobile Legends Bang Bang as shown below.


Clearly denying of any violations done against Riot Games, the China-based game developer is said to be pursuing legal actions against those who have spread malicious information and news against them.
