The Cupertino based company has announced its plans to discontinue the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle. They have removed the products from their official websites.
“Today, we are simplifying our iPod lineup with two models of iPod touch now with double the capacity starting at just $199 and we are discontinuing the iPod shuffle and iPod nano,” in a statement issued to Bloomberg.
The iPod Touch, however, lives on. It’s now on its 6th iteration. The 64GB model has a price tag of $199 while the larger 128GB model can be had for $299.
