According to an internal document shared to Android Authority, the LG V30, codenamed JOAN, will be released in its home country of South Korea on September 15, days after the expected announcement at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The LG V30 is the successor to the widely received V10 and V20.
Details are still sketchy at this point but the V30 is speculated to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 3200 mah battery, IP68 dust, and water proof certification and will retain the headphone jack. The V10 and V20 were widely known for their superb audio quality output so expect the same for the V30. Rumors also suggest the V30 will be ditching the secondary display ticker as seen in its predecessors, which could tick off some users (no pun intended).
