The LG V30 will sport the largest lens aperture on any smartphone

LG is known as an innovator in the smartphone scene. It was the first to introduce a phone with a curved screen (LG GFlex), the first functional modular smartphone (LG G5), the first to put volume controls at the back of the phone (LG G2) and will look to be the first to release a smartphone with the largest lens aperture ever, at f/1.6.

This, according to LG, will deliver more light to the camera sensor than any other smartphone to date and will deliver more accurate photos. This also means the phone won’t be struggling much to capture sharp and detailed photos low light conditions.

The dual camera wielding V30 will also feature DSLR like controls for professional looking photos and will have laser autofocus, OIS, and EIS. Not just a great camera phone, the LG V30 is also expected to pickup the great audio quality introduced in the V10 and V20, making the V30 an all around media phone. The LG V30 will be unveiled on August 31 at IFA 2017 in Berlin.
